Everything was spotless and tidy here, and the staff really cared about making sure we were taken care of 👌.

The food was amazing at Queensmead Hotel. The hotel had a quirky charm.- Ideal location to explore the Island after 18 years.- The units were good-sized and absolutely perfect, with 2 single beds and a separate bathroom.- Comfortable bar area.- Excellent service

I had a brilliant stay for 80£ a night. The location was quiet and ideal for the regular Wednesday evening entertainment I had paid for from 8pm. Lucky that it was relatively close to Domino's Pizza, offering food to go.

This place is clean with dedicated staff and quiet, ideal location, and exceptional services including a lovely pool.

The location is fantastic, being very close to the beach, shops, the old town, and the seafront. Plus, there's a nearby place called Palmerston Grange to enjoy tea or coffee.

After reading one disgusting report whilst staying at the Queensmead this June, I feel that I would like to say what I think. Firstly I went to Queensmead in February 2001, and have been almost every year since, sometimes twice a year. For me, this is like going from home to home. I love the place and the staff are wonderful. Barrie the owner is so obliging. and his staff are 100% helpful. The food is delicious, and certainly not meagre in size, as someone said. You ask for what you want at breakfast, after having the starters at the breakfast bar. I sat with two friends again this year and the husband had a full English every morning. There is no way I could even tackle the amount of food given. I counted and I think there were eight different items, all beautifully cooked. You have a choice with eggs, scrambled, fried or poached, nothing is too much trouble for anyone at the hotel. All being well I shall be returning again next year, maybe twice Barrie, so watch out !!. Thanks to all who make the holiday so special. Mavis R Evans, Solihull.

As far as I am concerned, this is a beautiful place for a holiday, you couldn't wish for better food, all home cooked, and beautifully presented.

I couldn't fault anything with the Queensmead, is I did have a problem, I know Barrie or his staff, would soon put it right.

Lots of food for breakfast, it was amazing.

The rooms were spotless with comfortable beds. The location was magnificent and perfect, right next to Queensmead, Island and the beach, shops, and the old town of Shanklin. The staff were dedicated and provided good service. 

The staff were friendly and provided all the information I needed, and the location was perfect for peaceful walks in a wooded coastal ravine.
